The Heath Band

Heath Band is a community Brass Band based near Leighton Buzzard.

Established in 1933, Heath Band has its home in the village of Heath and Reach. We are a a non-contesting Brass Band and warmly welcome new players to all sections of the Band. At the moment we are on the lookout particularly for cornet players, Bass Trombonists, Barritones and percussion, but whatever brass instrument you play, we’d love to hear from you.

We rehearse on Wednesday evenings from 7.45-9.30 at Gilbert Inglefield school in Leighton Buzzard and our Musical Director is Steve Allen

We play at many local public events throughout the year, (listed in the ‘about us’ section) and can also be booked to play at private events.

Not played in a while and worried you might be rusty? We’ve got you covered!

We're able to welcome players of all abilities. Heath Band is for people with playing experience, but we also have a training band for new players.

If you don’t know which will best suit you, that’s fine - please do get in touch to discuss.

New Members Welcome!

We would love to welcome you to Heath Band. At the moment we are particularly keen to hear from trumpet/cornet players, percussionists, Eb Bass and bass trombonists, and baritones. Whatever brass instrument you play though, we are always happy to welcome new members.
