Training Band
Learn to play a brass instrument with the Heath Band! Have you ever wanted to play, but never had the opportunity? Are you having lessons now and looking for somewhere to play in a group? Perhaps you used to play and quite fancy giving it another go….
Our Training Band is run by members of the Heath Band and welcomes complete beginners and more experienced learners. It is open to young people (from about age 8 upwards) and adults. Sessions include group-playing and some 1-1 time for complete beginners.
We meet at Gilbert Inglefield School from 6.30-7.30 p.m. on Wednesdays. The Training Band is free of charge. Once the player is ready to move up to the main band a small subscription covers instrument loan, music and uniform.
